Dual Immersion Parent Conference 2.25.12

Please join us for an unique opportunity to learn more about dual language immersion programs in SCESD

This conference is geared toward two parent groups: prospective parents of incoming kinder and/or first graders and current dual immersion parents.  Separate tracks for each session will focus on areas specific to either groups.

**Prospective parents will have the opportunity to learn more about ‘what’ dual immersions programs are and ask questions from educators and experts in the field.

**Current parents will have the opportunity to learn about enriching their child’s language acquisition and strengthening the current immersion programs.  There will also be discussion on continuing language immersion beyond elementary school. 

Former CEO/President of the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce and Educational Administrator, Tom Carvey M.A. will address the audience as the keynote speaker.  Several guest speakers, including dual language immersion students, will round out the day’s events.
