Lincoln Elementary Dual Language Program

I want to share a recent article featured on Desert News about a young, trilingual woman click here. She describes her elementary immersion education and the path which led her to become trilingual. The article made me reflect on my bilingual upbringing and all the opportunities it has afforded me in my life, thus far.  My mother  certainly deserves a great deal of gratitude for insisting that my siblings and I learned both languages.  I know, without a doubt, that being bilingual changed my world. For that, I'm forever grateful to my mother for her wisdom.
