Thanks for posting the link to the children's literature that Mommy Maestra listed. It is nice to be provided the resources to locate bilingual and bicultural books. Perhaps we can consider obtaining these books and donating them to the Lincoln School Library Collection? I am going to try to check them out, if available, from our local libraries or order them from Amazon. Thanks so much!
I was able to find all these books and the Jose Luis Orozco Spanish Music CD at a Santa Clara County Public Library (Morgan Hill); I did not check the Salinas, Monterey or Carmel libraries yet, but they may be there. It may be worth it to check on-line before making the trip. The libraries all accept holds via the internet if you have a library card. My student listens to his Jose Luis Orozco CD on the way to and from school every day...and is singing the songs!
